A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Hannah Holcomb is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in human environmental sciences and The University of Mississippi with a master’s degree in higher education. She is currently pursuing a PhD in educational leadership with a concentration in higher education leadership at Mississippi State University.
A second year doctoral student, Hannah’s research interests focus around study abroad, most specifically graduate students and study abroad. She works as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Educational Leadership and, upon completing her PhD, has a goal of becoming a faculty member.
Hannah chose to come to Mississippi State University because the doctoral program closely matched her academic interests, and her interactions with the people upon visiting campus were wonderful. Hannah loves the people on campus and enjoys the food in charming Starkville, Mississippi.
Hannah is the proud mom of Allie, her 20-month-old daughter. Hannah loves any and all time spent with Allie and traveling the world with her and their family.
